I love Canadian politics, and I feel lucky to get to study it for a living. I'm a Senior Analyst at the Media Ecosystem Observatory in Montreal, where I do survey research and spend a lot of time thinking about how Canadians — and Albertans in particular this year — talk about politics and navigate digital media.

My background: grew up in Calgary, high school at Li Po Chun United World College in Hong Kong, a BA in political science at McGill, two years in Ottawa and Calgary, and then back to McGill for an MA in quantitative methods, with a thesis on climate policy support.

In the summer of 2023 I thru-hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, where I was properly able to touch grass before becoming a full-time social media scroller. I still need a long hike every so often to detox.
